Dimple Pinch 15 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, with every component aged for at least 15 years in ex-bourbon oak casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. The blend is weighted towards malt, including Glenkinchie and Linkwood, married with grain whisky from Cameronbridge. It comes in the triangular bottle with pinched sides that the brand has used since 1893.
The nose offers caramel, burnt oak, toasted cereal, hay and a faint hint of iodine. The palate is malty and warm, with caramelised oak sweetness, soft peat smoke, iodine and sea salt. The finish is moderate to long and smoky, with burnt caramel, peat and a sweet toffee note at the end.
