Dingle Lúnasa is a triple-distilled Irish single malt from Dingle in County Kerry, bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It is the fourth release in the distillery's Wheel of the Year series, which follows the Celtic calendar. Lúnasa marks the harvest festival and the start of the harvest season.
The whiskey was matured in bourbon casks and finished in casks from Widow Jane, the Brooklyn bourbon distillery. It is bottled unfiltered and uncoloured, with no age statement.
The nose has ripe red berries, warm salted caramel, lemon sherbet and creamy butter fudge. On the palate come barley sugar, subtle spice, and dark chocolate with raspberries. The finish is long, with ginger, spice, dark fruits and caramel.
