Doc Holliday 13 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from World Whiskey Society, bottled at 54% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is one of four releases marking Doc Holliday's 174th birthday, and the first cask-finished bottling in the Doc Holliday line.
After 13 years in charred American oak, the bourbon was finished in French Armagnac casks.
The nose offers apricot, grape, baker's chocolate, butter and seasoned oak. On the palate come oak, vanilla, caramel, light raspberry and a little spice, leading to a long, earthy finish of dried fruit, black cherry, old oak and peanut husk.
