A single-barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled in Kentucky and aged for 13 years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This limited edition is a tribute to John Henry "Doc" Holliday, the doctor turned gunfighter. It is bottled at 54% (108 proof).
Tasting notes describe red berries, cherry tarts, aged leather and brownie batter on the nose. The palate has rye bread spice, white pepper, vanilla, juicy berries, dried cherries and earthy tobacco. The finish is long, with dried oak, dry leather and a hint of berries and cream.
