Doc Holliday Straight Flush is a 23 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the World Whiskey Society, bottled at 48% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is a single barrel release, drawn from Frankfort-distilled Kentucky stocks.
After its long maturation the bourbon was given a second oak treatment. The series names its bourbons after poker hands.
The colour is deep mahogany. Old leather, dark cherry and tobacco leaf come through, with toasted vanilla, molasses and baking spice from the second oak. The body is full and mouth-coating, and the finish is very long, with dried fig, walnut and dry, tannic oak.
