Doc Holliday 7 Year Bourbon (75cl)

Doc Holliday 7 Year is a single barrel straight bourbon, aged seven years and bottled at cask strength in a 750ml bottle, so the proof varies from one barrel to the next. World Whiskey Society selects the barrels from an undisclosed distillery in Indiana. The mashbill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, a high-rye recipe that adds spice to the corn sweetness. Tasting notes mention sugar cookie, toffee and black cherry on the nose. The palate moves from vanilla and butterscotch to lemon candy, baking chocolate and black pepper, and the finish is long and warming with honey, cinnamon and sage.
