Doc Holliday 8 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 54% ABV (108 proof). It is a limited, single barrel release, and each bottle is individually numbered.
The bourbon spends eight years in new American oak before a finish in Oloroso sherry casks. The mash bill is 80% corn, 10% malted corn, 5% rye and 5% malted barley.
The nose brings caramel, toasted cornbread, dried fruit and citrus zest. The palate is rich and warming, with dark chocolate, sherry-soaked raisins and rye spice. The finish is long and spicy, with pepper, leather, tobacco and oak.
