Doc Swinson's Dos Padres is a straight bourbon from the Exploratory Cask series, finished in añejo tequila casks and bottled at 58% ABV (116 proof), in a 75cl bottle.
The tequila casks add agave character and an earthy sweetness over the bourbon beneath.
The nose offers caramel, oak and a hint of roasted agave. The palate is full and rich, with brown sugar, baking spice and earthy tequila-cask notes. The finish is long, warm and layered.
