Dogliani Rosso DOCG Papà Celso Marziano Abbona (13.5%)

A red Dogliani DOCG from Marziano Abbona, made from Dolcetto. It has a lively ruby colour. The nose opens with ripe red fruit, light earthy notes and delicate spice. The palate is smooth, supported by good freshness and tannins that are present but well integrated, giving structure without being intrusive. The finish is pleasant and inviting. It suits cured-meat starters, stuffed pasta, savoury first courses, grilled red meats and semi-hard cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 °C and open a few minutes ahead to let the wine express itself. It is a versatile everyday red with character and easy food pairing.
