A 2024 Dolcetto d'Alba from Fratelli Alessandria, with a bright ruby colour and pleasant aromatic intensity.
The aromas recall crunchy red fruits, cherry, small berries, violet and a discreet herbal note. On the palate it is immediate and sincere, compact in body yet flowing, with lively freshness, fine tannins and a savoury note; the finish is clean and of moderate persistence.
It is an everyday wine for cold cuts and fresh cheeses, light meat sauces and Piedmontese dishes, best served cool at around 14-16 C.
