Paolo Scavino's Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is a red wine from Piedmont made from the native Dolcetto grape. It has an intense ruby red colour, often with purple reflections. The aroma is dominated by mature red fruit such as cherries, plums and small berries, with floral violet notes and light spice. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with medium body, delicate well-integrated tannins and pleasant acidity. It pairs well with pasta, risotto, white and red meats and fresh or aged cheeses.
