Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Tre Vigne from Vietti is a Piedmontese red wine made solely from Dolcetto grapes. The grapes come from vineyards in Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba and Castiglione Falletto, grown on calcareous and clay soils. In the glass it is violet-red with purple nuances. The aroma shows blackberry, raspberry and violet, with mineral and blueberry notes. Fermentation and ageing take place in steel tanks. On the palate it is medium-bodied, balanced, with soft tannins and moderate acidity. It suits Piedmontese antipasti, cured meats, savoury first courses and white meats.
