Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Vigna Scot from Cavallotto is a red wine expressing the immediate, natural character of Dolcetto grown in the parcel known as Vigna Scot. It has a bright ruby colour, with aromas of small red berry fruit, light floral notes and herbaceous hints. The aromatic approach is frank and clean, without excess, giving a clear reading of the variety and the territory indicated by the DOC. On the palate it shows a slender structure, moderate tannins and fresh acidity that supports drinking; the finish is sapid and pleasant, with discreet persistence. It suits everyday dishes such as cured meats, pasta with sauce, white meats and fresh cheeses, and is best served fresh around 14-16 C.
