Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Dry

Dolin Dry is a French dry vermouth made in Chambéry in the Savoy, where Dolin has made vermouth since 1821. Chambéry holds France's only appellation for vermouth, awarded in 1932. It has a light, fresh and clean profile, built on a delicate wine base and more than thirty Alpine herbs. The nose is fresh and elegant and the palate subtle and complex. It makes a classic 1:1 Martini with gin, and is also good as an aperitif or alongside raw shellfish, goat cheese or pesto. In the kitchen it adds an herbal depth that ordinary white wine cannot.
