Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Dry (75cl, 17.5%)

Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Dry is a French dry vermouth in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 17.5% ABV. It has been made since 1821 in Chambéry, Savoie, from white wine macerated with more than thirty Alpine herbs and plants, led by wormwood. Sugar is under 30 g/L. Dolin is family-owned, and Chambéry holds France's only appellation for vermouth. The colour is very pale with a touch of gold. The nose is citrus peel with menthol and balsamic notes. The palate is velvety, with almond and fruit over a slightly bitter citrus base, and mountain-plant aromas linger on the finish.
