Régnié Montmerond is a red wine from Domaine Antoine Sunier, made from 55-year-old Gamay vines in the Montmerond parcel. The soil is quartz, volcanic stones and granite. The farming is organic and biodynamic, and it is a natural wine.
The grapes are vinified by traditional carbonic maceration, then aged for 8 months in Burgundy barrels.
The wine is delicately fruity and mineral, very slightly spiced, with great aromatic concentration.
