Domaine des Demoiselles Dona del Sol Muscat de Rivesaltes (75cl)

Dona del Sol is a sweet fortified Muscat de Rivesaltes from Domaine des Demoiselles at Tresserre in Roussillon, southern France. It is made entirely from Muscat of Alexandria and spends five months in tank. The estate's name comes from Mas des Minyonas, a farm the owning family bought around the time of the French Revolution; the Catalan name became Domaine des Demoiselles in French. The nose offers candied fruit, pear, peaches in syrup and citrus zest. The palate is harmonious, soft, sweet and complex, leading to a long finish with plenty of nuance.
