Domaine Gérard Millet Sancerre Blanc

This is a dry white Sancerre from Domaine Gérard Millet, a family estate in Bué, a few kilometres from Sancerre. The family has farmed it for five generations, and each vineyard is harvested and vinified separately to show its own character. The wine is lively and fruity, with minerality balanced against citrus aromas. On the palate it is full and soft, with a pleasing finish. It works well with pork, shellfish, vegetarian dishes or a ripe cheese, served at 8-10°C.
