A 2020 Alsace Riesling from Domaine Marc Tempé, made from hand-picked grapes grown in a biodynamically farmed vineyard. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place in steel, followed by time on the fine lees.
The wine is bright pale gold with golden reflections. The nose is delicate but broad, with ripe white fruit, citrus zest, dried flowers and a hint of flint.
Freshness leads on the palate, supported by a savoury backbone, and the fruity finish is long.
