Domaine Pattes Loup Chablis 1er Cru Beauregard Mise Tardive

This is a Chablis Premier Cru from Domaine Pattes Loup, made from Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone in the commune of Courgis. The domaine farms organically and biodynamically. The wine spends 36 months on fine lees, in stainless steel tank and oak barrel. That long time on the lees is what the Mise Tardive name refers to. It is a lively, pure wine with plenty of energy, and a good body in the mouth with fruit that comes through clearly. Intensity and charm sit together.
