Dominus Estate 2020 Napa Valley (1.5L) (1.5L)

Dominus Estate 2020 is a red wine from Napa Valley, in a 1.5 litre bottle. It comes from the Napanook Vineyard at Yountville and is built on articulated fruit and polished tannins, with elegance, complexity and great length. The growing season was dry, with 17 inches of rain between July 2019 and June 2020 against a historical average of 31. Warm spring and summer temperatures and well-drained soils led to rapid, even ripening. Berries were selected by hand and by optical sorting to remove any marked by heat, and the crop was very small. It is floral, with jasmine tea, saddle leather and blue plum, light in feel and lifted, ending on a resonant finish.
