Don Julio 1492 is an Añejo tequila from Mexico, the top cuvée of the Don Julio house. It is named in honour of the founder, Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada, who first distilled tequila in 1942 when he was 17 years old.
The spirit spends 30 months in American white oak before it is bottled at 38% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
