Donatella Cinelli Colombini Brunello di Montalcino Prime Donne

A red wine from Montalcino made from Sangiovese, with grapes selected from well-exposed vineyards on soils that give complexity and robust structure. It matures for a long period in oak barrels. The wine shows a deep ruby colour tending towards garnet with age. On the nose there are ripe cherry and plum, with spice, leather, tobacco and a light touch of chocolate. The palate has balanced tannins, persistent freshness and marked balance. It is best served after adequate decanting and pairs well with roast meats, game and aged cheeses.
