Rosa is a Sicilia DOC rosé made by Donnafugata in collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana. The label draws on the colours of the traditional Sicilian cart.
It is a blend of two Sicilian black grapes, Nerello Mascalese and Nocera.
The nose is fine and delicate, with wild strawberry and peach alongside jasmine, rose petals and bergamot. The palate is fresh, fine and balanced. It suits an aperitivo, and works with raw fish, vegetarian dishes and delicate meats.
