Dos Maderas Rum 5+5 Anos Triple Aged (70cl)

A dark rum from Williams & Humbert offering an immediate balance between sweetness and structure. The nose opens with caramel, vanilla and molasses, followed by dried fruit and raisins that recall the influence of wood, then bitter cocoa and sweet spices. The palate is full and round, with controlled heat and soft tannins supporting the body, evolving through caramel and candied orange peel into sweet tobacco and cocoa. It closes with a pleasant, slightly spicy persistence. Enjoy neat, with an ice cube or in structured cocktails, and with dark chocolate, dry pastries or mild cigars.
