Double A Affirmation & Accountability is a Texas straight bourbon, aged for four to six years in Texas and bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The time in oak gives it a warm oak backbone and a caramel and vanilla core, with a drier edge that comes from maturing in Texas.
The nose offers sweet spice, warm oak, caramel and vanilla. The palate is smooth caramel and vanilla with a steady thread of spice, and the finish is warm and balanced, with hints of leather and tobacco.
