Double A "Appreciation & Atonement" is a six year old Texas straight bourbon, bottled at 51.5% ABV (103 proof). It was matured in new charred American oak and is produced in Texas by Double A Bourbon, in a style that favours depth and structure.
The nose is spicy caramel, toasted oak and warm vanilla with hints of dried fruit. The palate is rich and rounded, with butterscotch, caramelised sugar and subtle dark fruit over gentle spice. The finish is long and warming, with orange peel, soft leather and lingering oak.
