A 10 year old Benrinnes from Speyside, bottled by Dràm Mòr, the company founded by Viktorija and Kenny Macdonald. It was distilled in 2013, matured in a single bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The outturn was 278 bottles in 70cl.
The colour is rose gold. The nose is smooth, warming and pleasant, and fairly reserved. On the palate come rich caramelised vanilla and white chocolate, with white pepper spice from the oak. The finish is long, with spices alongside sweet bourbon tones.
