This is an 11 year old single malt from Blair Athol in the Highlands, bottled by Dràm Mòr at a cask strength of 56% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 from a single refill bourbon hogshead, which gave 305 bottles. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
The colour is pale gold. The nose is fresh, with a surprising note of sloe berry. The palate offers a broad spread of flavours, well beyond what a refill bourbon cask might suggest, and the finish is medium to long with gentle wood polish and vanilla pod.
