This is a single cask Glen Garioch bottled by Dràm Mòr. The spirit was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at 10 years old, from an ex-Williamson hogshead. It comes at a cask strength of 57.2% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The outturn was 225 bottles.
The nose is classic bourbon with the faintest promise of smoke to come. On the palate, the ex-Islay cask meets the bourbon-matured spirit and gives campfire smoke rather than phenolic peat. The finish is sweet and smoky, like a marshmallow toasted over an open fire, with delicate white pepper.
