Dràm Mòr Glenglassaugh 2015 8 Year Old (70cl, 53.2%)

This is an 8 year old Glenglassaugh single malt from the Highlands, bottled by Dràm Mòr in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 53.2% ABV. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2024, with an outturn of 246 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Most of its maturation was in the original cask, before a short finish in a first fill Cognac hogshead. The nose shows vanilla and mixed peppercorns around juicy raisins. On the palate the Glenglassaugh spirit comes through, with raisin and yellow sultana notes from the Cognac finish. The finish is lively, with recurring flavours.
