This is a 10 year old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled by Dràm Mòr from a single first fill bourbon barrel at a cask strength of 56.8%. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022, with an outturn of 243 bottles, natural colour and no chill filtration.
The nose is fiery and peppery, with pear drops and nail polish softening into old oak furniture. The palate is buttery and gentle, quite unlike the nose. The finish starts with cacao, turns to warm vanilla, returns to cacao and ends on a rich malty note that lingers.
