This is a single cask Linkwood from Speyside, bottled by Dràm Mòr at 11 years old. It was distilled in 2013 and matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel before bottling in 2024. The strength is a cask strength 54.8%, in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The outturn was 325 bottles.
The nose is rich and surprisingly smoky, with mouth-watering funky fruits. On the palate the fruit wraps around warming oak spice, and cigar ash appears as if from nowhere. The finish gives more cigar ash, carrying Oloroso sherry spices along with it.
