Dràm Mòr Loch Lomond 9 Year Old Cask #3 (70cl, 55.9%)

This is a nine-year-old Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled by Dràm Mòr from a single cask, number 3. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025, with 311 bottles filled. The whisky was finished in a first fill Four Roses bourbon barrel and bottled at a cask strength of 55.9%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Its colour is that of a rich sauternes wine. The nose recalls Bakewell tart, with almond, buttery pastry, raspberry jam, lychee and white pepper. The palate carries the same baked character, with fresh and dried yellow fruit, almond, yellow pear and white pepper. The finish is of medium length and mellow.
