Drei Dona Sangiovese Vigna Pruno in magnum is a balanced, straightforward red. It is ruby red, clear and bright. The nose shows ripe cherry, small red fruit and light aromatic herbs, with a discreet sweet spice note. The palate has measured structure, gentle but present tannins and good acidity supporting drinkability. It suits tomato-based sauces, white meats and fresh or semi-aged cheeses. Serve at 16-18 C.
