A single cask Irish single malt bottled by Blackadder in 2025 at a cask strength of 57.5%. It matured for 16 years in Scotland in an ex-Monymusk Jamaican rum cask, and 199 bottles were filled in 70cl.
Irish whiskey rules do not allow an official age statement for whiskey aged outside Ireland. It is bottled un-chillfiltered and without added colouring.
The rum cask brings ripe banana, roasted pineapple, brown sugar and warm vanilla spice, over rich orchard fruit and a honeyed palate.
