Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Marsala Cask is an Irish single pot still whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in casks that previously held Sicilian Marsala, which brings together Ireland and Sicily in one bottle.
The nose offers raisins, candied fruit, honey and caramel, with a soft thread of sweet wood from the Marsala. On the palate it is velvety and warm, with dried figs, vanilla, toffee, ripe yellow fruit and a little chocolate.
The finish is long, sweet and lasting, with a clear winey character.
