Drumshanbo Single Pot Still is an Irish whisky made at The Shed Distillery, the same distillery that makes Gunpowder gin. It is a single pot still whisky, made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley.
The spirit is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
On the nose it is vanilla, toasted cereals, light spice, pear and yellow apple. The palate is soft, balanced and round, with honey, biscuit, caramel and almond. The finish is long and harmonious, with spice returning at the end.
