This is a 10 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, a limited edition made as a collaboration between World Whiskey Society and Ducks Unlimited. The bottle has engravings inspired by hunting rifle craftsmanship and a metallic duck topper, and comes in a lacquered wooden case.
The nose has dark chocolate, smoked hickory and dried dates, with licorice and black cherry. On the palate there is rich molasses, spiced oak and caramelised brown sugar, with charred vanilla underneath. The finish is long and warming, with smoke, spice and a velvety sweetness.
