Duncan Harwood is a blended Canadian whisky dated 1946, bottled at 45.2% in a 75.7cl bottle. It was distilled at the Duncan Harwood distillery, registered no. 2 in Vancouver, which is no longer active. Duncan Harwood & Co was a Vancouver distilling company owned by United Distillers Ltd, which is not the United Distillers that later became Diageo. It was formed in Canada at the height of Prohibition in the United States and operated into the mid-1950s. It was eventually wound up after a tax evasion scandal involving its directors.
