This is a 14 year old Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Single Cask range. It was distilled in 2008 and matured in a Bourbon barrel before bottling in 2023. The outturn was 354 bottles at a cask strength of 54.2%, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose combines vanilla, sweet smoke, fresh fruit and honey with lemon sponge. On the palate are fresh green apple and citrus, with light smoke and peppery notes. The finish is long and lingering, with green pepper and sweet stewed apples.
