This is an 11 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Girvan, bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Octave range. Duncan Taylor began in Glasgow as merchants and brokers of Scotch whisky casks, and now works from Huntly in the Highlands. The company has laid down casks from distilleries across Scotland for decades and holds one of the largest privately held collections of rare and vintage Scotch. It is well known for its octave finishes, which use small casks.
