This is a single cask Irish single malt from Dunville's, matured for 14 years and finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.3% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour. The liquid comes from The Echlinville Distillery, which revived the Dunville's name in 2012. The brand was first established in Belfast in 1808. This cask comes from the final parcels of a whiskey that had won Small Batch Irish Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards. The colour is copper. The nose has juicy raisins and dates, and the palate offers dried apple and pear with honey. The finish is dark cocoa and mint.
