Dunville's 1808 is a blended Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It combines malt, grain and pot still whiskeys.
The nose opens with sweet vanilla, then crisp apples and pears, lemon curd and candied lemon peel over clean malt. The palate is soft and creamy, with buttery notes, ripe citrus and baked biscuit, ending in lemon meringue, with a little char and white pepper for depth.
The finish brings dry smoke and juicy fruit, followed by lingering sweet spice.
