A 24-year-old Irish single malt from Dunville's, bottled from a single cask at a cask strength of 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. The cask yielded 296 bottles.
Dunville's dates back to 1808 in Belfast, stopped production in 1936 and was revived by The Echlinville Distillery in 2012.
The colour is tawny. The nose offers sticky date pudding, orange zest and semi-dried apricot. On the palate come ripe nectarine, blackberry jubes and brioche, then melted butter, macadamia fudge and a hint of lemon balm, which carry into the finish.
