E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It honours Edmund Taylor, regarded as one of the founding figures of the American whisky industry.
The whiskey was aged in the warehouses that Taylor originally built, which now form part of the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
The nose combines cereal notes with soft whipped toffee, sweet fruit, shortbread and butterscotch. The palate is very rich, with gentle spice, vanilla toffee, candied orange, rolled tobacco leaf and almonds, ending in lingering caramel and sweet spices.
