Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It uses the same recipe as the standard Buffalo Trace bourbon. The barrels chosen for the Eagle Rare label tend to be earthier, more robust and darker in flavour, which gives the brand its own profile despite the shared recipe. Warehouses at the distillery are heated in winter, a tradition begun by E.H. Taylor in the 1800s, to keep the whiskey moving in and out of the wood and gathering sweet oak flavour.
