Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace, bottled by the distillery at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in charred new American oak for no less than ten years, and has no added colour. Each cask is chosen to give a consistent flavour with an individual personality.
The nose is complex, with toffee, a hint of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The palate is bold, dry and delicate, with candied almonds and very rich cocoa. The finish is dry and long.
