Eagle Rare is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey made by Buffalo Trace Distillery, aged in cask for at least ten years. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is a deep, bright amber. The nose brings toffee, orange peel, aromatic herbs and leather. The palate is firm, stately and fairly dry, easing into almond and cocoa notes that come from the wood. The finish is persistent and drying.
