Early Times Bottled-in-Bond is a Kentucky straight bourbon made by Brown-Forman to the standards of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. It was distilled in a single season by one distiller at one distillery, then matured for at least four years in new charred oak barrels.
The mash bill is 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley. It comes in a 1 litre bottle.
Vanilla and caramel lead the nose, with oak and a little rye spice. The palate offers vanilla, toasted oak, nutmeg and cinnamon, and the finish is long and warm with sweet corn.
